Welcome to the official website of Austin Royals Christian Athletics - commonly known as simply the Austin Royals. We are an organization of homeschool families in the greater area of Austin, Texas, that offers competitive sports to our elementary through high school students. Our primary purpose, however, is to help them become obedient followers of Jesus Christ who love God above all and will likewise encourage others to follow Christ.

Our varsity teams are now listed on Maxpreps, a national ranking/statistics site. The site will allow us to post our team schedule, our games results, our roster, team stats, individual stats, photos, videos, etc. Many of the teams we have played so far this season use Maxpreps. The site is easy to use and should allow the Royals and its players a chance to get the recognition they deserve.

Royals Banquet
WHO: This is for ALL Royals athletes on ALL Royals teams, and their families (you may consider getting a babysitter for young siblings who may have trouble sitting still for a while)
WHERE: Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Rd, Austin, TX, 78759. Awards will be presented in the Great Hall and dessert will be in the Atrium.
WHEN: May 9th, 2013. Awards for the 5th-8th graders, with the exception of track, will be from 6:00-7:15ish in the Great Hall. We will ALL join together for dessert from 7:15-8:00 in the Atrium. Awards for the 9th-12th graders, and all track athletes, will be from 8:00-9:30 in the Great Hall. This will also include us honoring our 11 seniors!
WHAT TO BRING: Everyone should bring a dessert to share. Please bring your dessert in a throw-away container of some sort if possible. If your dessert needs a serving utensil, please bring that as well. Finger foods will be the easiest to serve, but I realize some of you have "favorite desserts" which do not qualify as finger foods!
WHAT TO WEAR: Ladies should wear dresses or slacks, and men should wear slacks! Throughout our seasons, we get to see each other in shorts and t-shirts, so it is nice to see everyone a little dressed up for this event!
COST: $10 per family! If you want to give more, that would be great! This just helps us cover our costs for the evening!!
DETAILS: When arriving for the 6:00 awards (5th-8th grade), please bring your dessert to the atrium before we start. If coming for dessert at 7:15 and the 8:00 awards, please go straight to the atrium, so as not to disturb the awards being presented to the younger kids! I know some of you have kids in both age groups, so it will be somewhat of a long evening for you, but this seems to be the best solution we have at this point! I will be right there with you!
Thanks for a great year! This is always a fun culmination of our year, and a way for our coaches to recognize the positive attributes of each athlete and their contributions to their teams! Please don't miss out!!!
