Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Austin Royals Christian Athletics - commonly known as simply the Austin Royals.  We are an organization of homeschool families in the greater area of Austin, Texas, that offers competitive sports to our elementary through high school students.  Our primary purpose, however, is to help them become obedient followers of Jesus Christ who love God above all and will likewise encourage others to follow Christ.

Volleyball Practice

High school volleyball 2-A-Days will start on Monday, August 3rd.  This is for all incoming 9th-12th graders.  Practices will be held at the Austin Sports Center on Toro Grande in Cedar Park.  This is the same place we practiced last year.

We will practice from 7-10am and 11am-1pm from Monday through Thursday.  Each girl needs to bring a lunch/snack for the break.  On Thursday we will have a team party after practice.  On Friday we will practice from 8-10am and then go to Waldorf for a scrimmage.  Our first match will be Monday August 10th.  Anyone interested needs to sign up with the Royals and have a physical.  We will have a sign up day to be announced later.

If you have any questions please click to email Coach Laura.

Cross Country Information

Summer workouts begin Friday, June 5th, from 7:30 to 9:00am at the Williamson County Regional Park off of 1431.  We will meet at the track.  It does not cost anything to participate in the summer workouts, and well-supervised siblings are welcomed.  Incoming 7th-12th graders, both boys and girls, are eligible to compete in the fall meets.

If you are thinking about running but are unsure about it, these summer workouts will give you an excellent way to best evaluate your decision.  If you have any questions, contact Coach Kyle Miller at kmiller@ghbc.org or at 971-5003.

Our varsity teams are now listed on Maxpreps, a national ranking/statistics site.  The site will allow us to post our team schedule, our games results, our roster, team stats, individual stats, photos, videos, etc.  Many of the teams we have played so far this season use Maxpreps.  The site is easy to use and should allow the Royals and its players a chance to get the recognition they deserve.
